Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp’s parent company, Meta, released a new tool last week across all of its platforms in more than 10 countries. The purpose of this AI feature is to improve how people learn, create, connect, and complete tasks online.
Meta AI is a free, comprehensive assistant that can be easily linked to Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, according to Meta’s release on April 18. Users will never have to leave the app they’re using to get real-time information from across the web, saving them the trouble of continuously switching between platforms and search engines.
Meta AI also has an image production feature that can generate photos and GIFs quickly, giving users a plethora of creative options.
Where Is Meta AI Available?
Currently, Australia, Canada, Ghana, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, the United States, Zambia, and Zimbabwe are among the nations where this new function has been implemented.
How Can You Access Meta AI?
Instagram has put the new tool within its search function, but Facebook allows you to access it straight through your feed. Additionally, Meta is introducing real-time image creation from text on WhatsApp through beta testing in the United States.
Through its own website meta.ai, you can also utilize the new tool if you’d rather have a dedicated experience.
Can You Turn Off Meta AI?
Even while Meta’s AI assistant looks like it will change the game, some people might still prefer to use more conventional search techniques. Regretfully, there isn’t yet a way to completely stop the feature. But Meta has affirmed that users can carry on with their regular searches to “engage with a variety of results.”
One thing is certain as this new feature expands and acquires more functionality: it’s going to permanently change the way we use social media. It doesn’t matter if you use this new technology or remain with the tried-and-true approaches; Meta’s most recent creation is what’s powering social media in the future.
